Hienghène and Isle of Pines, New Caledonia

We started in the south at a place called Isle of Pines, often referred to as the "Closest Island to Paradise." It stands out for the towering Araucaria pines that dominate its landscape. Then, we made our way north to Hienghène, notable for its distinct limestone formations and rich cultural ties with the Kanak people.
